Cill na Martra 0-13
Bandon 1-07
Jonathan Coughlan and Adam Murphy all played well when introduced as substitutes in the IFC first round defeat 0-13 to 1-7 to Kilnamartyra last Saturday.

Indeed our goal came from the boot of Adam and with a little bit of more luck Bandon could have drawn level or even sneaked an unlikely win over the dominant mid Cork side.

Mark Sugrue was immense in the last quarter of this game and was denied late goals by the woodwork twice and a good goalkeeper.

We now face Carbery neighbours Clonakilty in the losers round 2B.

News
Bandon GAA followers are looking forward to finally seeing their under 21 Footballers in the U21BFC Final v Ibane Gaels in Ahiohill next Sunday at 3.30.

The sustained improvement in the weather should finally ensure that this game goes ahead.

Good victories in the quarter and semi finals over Ballinascarthy and Clann na Gael most likely mean Bandon will start as favourites but the team need to be careful as Kilmacabea were also favourites to reach the final in their semi final game against this fine Ibane Gaels side.

Pa O'Brien's injury may be decisive yet but the fine form of Oisin Twomey, Joe O'Mahony and the Fogarty twins may be enough to get us over the line.

Well done to the under 14 Footballers who topped their Group 3 at the Feile competition in Ballygarvan last Saturday.
