Our 21 Footballers, Selectors and many supporters were bitterly dis-appointed that the re-scheduled divisional final was postponed for the second consecutive time last Sunday afternoon. 

Whereas, there is no doubt a lot of rain fell on Sunday it is a wonder that the fixture did not go ahead last Saturday because the Sunday's deluge was well signposted on the national meteorological services. 

It now seems that the fixture goes back to the May Bank Holiday weekend which is very late for those team players doing the Leaving Certificate. 


Sunday's Div 4 Football League fixture at home to Adrigole also fell victim to the weather and goes ahead tonight Tuesday 12th April. 

The Intermediate Footballers continue with their championship preparations when they play a home game versus Grenagh at Kilmurry on Sunday with a 02.30 p.m. throw-in.
