There were three notable Underage victories last in the past week and also a large defeat.
The under 12 hurlers took some time to get going against a well organized Clonakilty selection at Clonakilty but proved too good in the end on a score of 4-8 to 1-4.
Richard Murphy in the middle of the park was inspirational and he was well assisted by Brendan Twohig and Rory Desmond in defense and Jake Lillis in attack.

Not for the want of effort by the mentors and players but our under 16 footballers were well beaten 3-17 to 0-10 by Urhan in the West Cork semi-final at Ballydehob but there was better news for the minors after their 2-13 to 1-12 victory over O'Donovan Rossa in Clonakilty and this team awaits winners of Western Gaels and Urhan in the decider at tbc.
