Football - Junior
St Marys 1-15
Bandon 3-06

Without the services of eight first team regulars the Junior A Footballers still ran a good St Marys side close in Round 2 of Carbery/Beara JAFL in Enniskeane last Sunday afternoon.

St Marys had the majority of possession throughout and led 0-7 to 1-1 at the break with Barry Collins converting a well worked goal with help from the returning Owen O'Mahony.

With the aid of a strong breeze in the second period, Barry chipped in with two more goals but still the efforts of this experimental side fell short on a final score of 1-15 to 3-06.

Team: P Prendergast, C Dullea, K Lucey, C Minihane, P Murphy 0-1, D Lucey, C O'Mahony, C Sugrue 0-1, J Hickey, J Mulcahy, J O'Connell, M Minihane, O O'Mahony, B Collins 3 - 4, M Mc Namara

Subs: T McCarthy for K Lucey. R Wilmot for O O'Mahony.
