Bandon GAA Notes 15-11-2016

The Bandon Under 12 C footballers were singing in the rain last Friday evening in Castlehaven after their defeat of their hosts 4-6 to 4-11 in the shield final. The miserable conditions proved no impediment to either side and they went on to provide great skill, thrills and spills for the brave Gaels who braved the awful night.  Well done to all involved and to their coaches Marie, Eoin, Niall and Karl.  Scorers were Hugh O’Mahony 2-6, Darragh Power 3-0, William Allen 0-1, Darragh Collins 0-1, Kane Donnellan 0-1, Jack Calnan 0-1 7 Donnacha McCarthy 0-1.

The final game of 2016 by our adult teams was a facile 5-26 to 0-8 victory in the Michael Holland Cup Final over Argideen Rangers at Kilbrittain last Saturday. 

Lastly, it is time to get your thinking caps on in preparation for our Annual Underage Club Family Fun Table Quiz on Friday evening 07:30 p.m. at the Pavilion.  20 Euros per table, all are welcome with plenty of questions for the youngster and the older person alike.
