News
On Saturday evening next at 06.30 p.m. in Kilmurry our intermediate footballers play the First Round Championship game against a much fancied Kilnamartyra side.

This will be the first Bandon team to compete in this grade since 1990 when we were defeated by a team from Aghada.

Kilnamartyra are seasoned campaigners in this loftier grade for 10 years and also play in the Division 2 football league as opposed to our participation in the Division 4 league.

They will be back-boned by the O'Leary brothers of Colm and Noel, Dan O Duinnin and Michael Desmond.

Having said that Bandon have lost only one of their 8 league games and the sole defeat to Na Piarsaigh in early March served as a reminder that nothing comes easy in this division.

The lads learned from that defeat when they defeated Adrigole by 14 points on last Tuesday evening.

All support will be welcomed on this historic occasion.

Our Under 16 footballers put in two good performances in the Premier 2 league in last week when going down by 4-11 to 1-10 and 2-14 to 2-8 away to both Ilen Rovers and Carbery Rangers.

Without the services of the injured Robert O'Driscoll and Conor Calnan meant that these away fixtures would be difficult.

Team: C Farrell, J Lucey, B Donegan, M Laffan, F Twomey, B Harrington, T Quinn, G O'Shea, E McSweeney, H Lillis, G O'Connell, S Lowney, P Hartnett, M Meany, D O'Donoghue.

Meanwhile there was no winner of the Gaa Club Lotto and thus this week's jackpot will be 5,950 Euros.

The Bingo Jackpot of 620 Euros has also rolled over from last week.
