Southern Star 17rth December - 2016-12-15

Muskerry Division  holds the keys to Bandon GAA Club championship aspirations in 2017.

Our senior hurlers face the Divisional side in the all-important (winner takes-all as it were) preliminary round.

The winners have a daunting match-up against Blackrock but at least our relegation fears would be eased as the victors of the preliminary round would be guaranteed at least two further championship games and would not be in the reckoning for relegation at end of 2017.

Our premier intermediate footballers have a very difficult opening championship game against the seasoned Ballingeary club from that same  Muskerry Division.

Next Saturday  night will see the playing of the two county final victory DVDs in the Pavilion at 08.00 p.m. to coincide with the clubs Christmas Social Night when anyone associated with the Adult or Underage Clubs in 2016 is welcome to the club for what promises to be a very good night out.

The club shop will open again on Friday night where all your clubs clothing, gear, calendars and DVDs are on sale.

The crested club sweaters are a sight to behold and special thanks to Eunice and Ian Doyle and Hilary O’Driscoll for all their hard-work at the Club Shop and its operations.

The Club Lotto Jackpot and the Club’s Bingo Jackpots will be €3,850 and €1,300 this coming  Thursday night in the Pavilion.
