Premier Intermediate Football Championship

Bandon's Premier Intermediate Footballers can look forward to a long summer after their deserved victory over Naomh Aban 1-14 to 0-15 last Saturday evening at Carraigadrohid. Mark Sugrue was immense all through as was the youngster Jonathan Mulcahy and the less younger Pat Prendargast.


Minor

Our Minor Hurlers recorded a 3-13 to 3-11 home victory over Cloughduv on last Friday evening in the top pitch. Gavin O'Connell rolled back the years by scoring 2-3  from open play and their were big contributions also from Niall Daly, Harry Lillis, Bryan O'Mahony and the midfield pairing of Dylan O'Donovan and Paul Hartnett. This team are busy in the coming week with  Football League games away to O'Donovan Rossa and Urhan at 3pm on the 21st and 28th and a rescheduled Hurling League game at home to Aghabullogue on Wednesday 25th at 7.15pm.

U14 Feile

Best wishes to our Under 14A Hurlers in the Feile Iomaint Competition at Newcestown on Saturday where they face Newcestown, Ibane Gaels, Ahan Gaels and St Colums. First game after 11am and Group winners go through to semi finals on Friday 27th. These under 14A Hurlers had a good 4-7 to 2-10 West Cork League victory away to Ibane Gaels last Friday evening in a tough physical battle. New team Captain Stephen Collins was inspirational while Darragh Finn, Aaron O'Reilly , Eamonn Twomey, Jack Callanan and Darragh Collins were also very good but Sean Ahern was the Star Man.
