The Under 14 hurlers played Western Gaels in the league last Thursday. Leading by 2-6 to 1-1 at half time with goals from Conor Craig Piper and Cathal Lynch, Bandon consolidated their position in the second half and ran out winners on a score line of 3-8 to 1-2 with the second half goal coming from Jack Calnan.

The Under 16 footballers ran out convincing winners 2-16 to 1-6 over O'Donovan Rossa last Wednesday. The half-time score was 2-8 to 0-3. Much improved performance all round particularly by Michael Meaney, Paul Lang, Ben Harrington and Fionn Twomey.

Mixed fortunes for the under 13 footballers though with a home victory 5-7 to 1-6 over Sam Maguires and a defeat of 3-3 to 7-5 to a strong Rosscarbery selection last Sunday evening.

The under 12 hurlers defeated Newcestown 5-9 to 6-5 in a thriller this Monday whilst the Intermediates Hurlers were defeated by the same opposition on a score of 0-13 to 2-11 on Sunday evening.

Please support the lads on Saturday evening in Brinny where they face Courcey Rovers in Round 1 of the Championship and don't forget that all help is welcomed on Sunday when the club hosts a Championship double header from 04;15 p.m. onwards.
