Whereas, our Under 16B Hurlers were dis-appointed in defeat to Pedlars Cross in their championship final at Newcestown last Thursday night on a score of 2-14 to 1-10, they have an early chance of redemption against Ballycastle Gaels in the County section of this competition at a date, time and venue in early next week.

Our Junior Hurlers, without the services of 7 players from the drawn game were no match for Doheny's 2-10 to 0-7 in the replay of the Junior A championship at Ballinacarraiga last Tuesday evening and alas it was a similar story in Kinsale on Saturday where our first hurling team were very much second best to Valley Rovers in Round 4 of the Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship.
