The sun shone for almost the whole duration of last weeks hugely successful Bandon GAA Kellogg's Cul Camp in the club grounds.

Over 175 children, including a family on holidays from Northampton, England totally enjoyed themselves under the care of head coaches Marc Sugrue and James MacSweeney and their many other younger coaches.

County Star Alan Cadogan proved a huge hit with the many youngsters' present and finally special thanks to Anthony Nyhan for co-coordinating the whole week's activities.

The main attraction this week will be the Under 16B County Hurling Championship final against Bride Rovers at Ballincollig on Saturday at 2:00 p.m.

The team came through a most difficult semi-final against. Ballycastle Gaels on a score of 2-11 to 1-13 at the same venue last week and will be really up against it on Saturday after Bride Rovers saw off the west Cork champions Ballinascarthy after a replay also last week.

All your support will be very welcome.

Our under 14 hurlers continue their round robin championship against Ibane Gaels in Kilbrittain on Thursday at 7.00 p.m. and are under pressure following their 7 point defeat to Sam Maguires last week.

However, there is no back door available to our Minor hurlers following their 2-6 to 7-13 defeat to St Fachtnas at Barryroe last evening in the championship.

It is about time that the club sorts out the minor hurling grade once and for all.
