| News Charlie Hurley Park will be the place to be next Sunday when the Bandon Underage GAA Club holds a Summer Barbeque (weather dependant). Festivities will commence at 02.00 and finish at 05.00 p.m .in time for the eagerly awaited Junior A football semi-final versus St Marys in Barryroe at 06.30 p.m. Each family in the Club is requested to bring a Salad and other goodies to the BBQ. Mini-Games have been organized for various age groups. - - - - - - - - - - -
The Junior A footballers face a re-surgent St Marys at Barryroe what with their victory over the reigning champions St Colums at the quarter final stage. Our lads proved too good for a very fit Barryroe selection at the same stage of the Rowa Rowex Pharma sponsored competition and hopefully your support will tilt things in our favour nest Sunday evening. - - - - - - - - - - -
Our Intermediate hurlers took their leave from the Premier Intermediate Championship last Saturday evening 01-15 to 04-14 where Ronan Crowley gave a master-class in free and point taking.
