| Football - U16 Bandon 2-11 Ilen Rovers 2-08 In the fast fading light last Tuesday evening at Ballinacarriga our under 16 footballers created quite an upset in the championship when they defeated a much fancied Ilen Rovers team on a score of 2-11 to 2-8. After selecting to change our jerseys due to the colour clash out lads showed their true colours by creating and scoring memorable scores. Best on the night were Kieran McCarthy, Mark O'Regan, David Behan, Eoin O'Sullivan, Owen Nolan and Gavin O'Connell. O'Donovan Rossa await in the semi-final and Bandon GAA wish a speedy recovery to the Ilen centre back who sustained a nasty injury. The Under 11's had a big win over St James Ardfield last week on score of 08-13 to 05-08 and were unlucky to lose out to Naomh Aban last Saturday on score of 02-10 to 02-08. - - - - - - - - - - -
