Bandon Underage GAA successfully organised the Bandon Primary School Football Blitz on Monday 29th September.
Over 150 boys and girls in 3rd and 4th class from Scoil Phadraig Naofa Bandon, Scoil Bhride Crossmahon, Scoil Naomh Seosamh Laragh and Gael Scoil Na Banndan attended the mixed team football event.
Seven Transition Years students from Hamilton High School were the match referees ensuring that each of teams played three good competitive football matches.
Coaching supervision was provided Niall Geary, Bandon Underage GAA Coaching Officer, James MacSweeney, Bandon Underage GAA Primary School Coach, and James McCarthy, Rebel Og West Cork GDA.
When the matches were completed group photos were taken and each of the primary school children were provided with a Goodie bag sponsored by Caulfield SuperValu, main sponsor to Bandon Underage GAA club.
The young players were invited to attend their the local GAA club to play more football and hurling.
