The under 8s completed their season at a football blitz in Clonakilty under glorious October sunshine last Saturday.

Fifty seven Bandon players attended, comprising five U8 teams and three U6 teams.

It was our first U6 blitz and the players really enjoyed the experience, each team playing three 5 a side games.

Bandons five teams was by far the biggest representation in the U8.

The players behaviour and sporting attitude was a credit to themselves, families, schools and club.

Bandons own super hero Michael Cahalane presented a medal to all Bandon players afterwards.

The blitz was extremely successful involving over 60 teams and 600 players.

The club is asking each family to participate in the weekly club lotto.

Further information will be available from club members in the coming weeks and it is vitally important to support the club lotto.
