Bandon GAA Club are sad to report the untimely death of John O'Neill (Gaggin). 

John was a young member of the 1974 Minor Hurling team, aged just 15, when they beat Shamrocks in the Mardyke in the county final. 

John was a tremendous prospect, and followed in the footsteps of his late father, Paddy.

He captained several outstanding underage teams before a serious accident cut short his career. 

To his wife Siobhan, and three sons Patrick, Jack and Alex who all played for Bandon, Bandon GAA club extends it's sympathies.
